Maya Kitchen Shows 101 Ways with Seafoods

On March 12, Saturday, 9am-1pm, learn the proper way to select, clean, store and cook fish, squids, crabs and shellfish as Mida Food Distributors Inc., The Seafood Specialist, visit The Maya Kitchen. Mida Food is a direct importer and distributor of frozen seafood products.

The demonstration includes recipes for Crab Cake with Aioli Sauce, Poached Salmon with Dijon Cream, Honey Sesame Glazed Prawn in Arrugula with Raspberry Vinaigrette, Pan-Grilled Chilean Seabass with Port Wine Reduction and Cream Dory Tandoori  withVegetable Raisin Couscous.

Other classes for the month of March are: European Cakes and Pastries, March 12, 9am-2pm; International Cooking (Hot & Cold Sampler), March 19, 9am-2pm; Bread Making Workshop, March 19, 10am-3pm; Coffee 101, March 26, 1-6pm; Kid’s Summer Cooking and Baking, March 26, 2-5pm.

Certificate Courses include: Restaurant Operation, March 3-5, 1-6pm; Vegetables, Fruits and Non-Preservative Processed Meats, March 3-4, 1:30-5:30pm; Fundamentals of Bakery Production, March 8-11 and March 22-25, 9am-2pm; Basic Culinary, March 15-18 and March 29-April 1, 9am-3pm; Advanced Cake Decoration (Fondant & Gum paste) March 19 & 26, 9am-3pm; Bartending Basics, March 25-26, 9am-3pm;  and Barista, starts March 26, 1-6pm.

TESDA Registered Programs include: Bread and Pastry Production NCII, starts March 8, 9am-2pm and Commercial Cooking, NCII, starts on March 15, 9am-3pm.
