Sandy’s Pizza at 50% off via Metrodeal

It was two or three years ago when our family decided that the pizza that tops them all, is hands down, Sandy’s Pizza and thanks to Metrodeal, we scored our pizza fix for 50% off.  A Sandy’s Pizza fan need not think twice. There was no way I was going to let the huge savings slip us by — P465 instead of P935!

Truth be told, after having read about some group buying site frauds, even that of Metrodeal scam, I thought I’d have to watch the groupon buying spree I find myself doing from time to time. But, as it turns out Metrodeal is the real deal! My boys and I were able to claim our coupon without a hitch.  All I had to do was hand out the pizza place attendant the coupon, I was asked which flavor we’ll have for our pizza and pasta and we were devouring on our luncheon in a few! 🙂

Two of our favorite flavors for our Sandy’s Pizza fix are Garlic Chorizo and Cheese and Margherita. So that’s what we chose for our 14″ pizza! Yum! Then, Carbonara with Mushrooms for our Pasta.

While we waited, the lady gave us this plate of onion rings to sample. Another great addition to their menu, I must say.

Sandy’s Pizza Buffalo Wings

If there is anything we cannot do away (aside from the pizza) whenever we swing by Sandy’s Pizza it is their Buffalo Wings.  It would be nice though if they can incorporate rice to the menu. 😉

Carbonara with Mushrooms

Since we were already a fan of Sandy’s Pizza’s pizza and buffalo wings, we usually do not try out their other offerings. Last Sunday was our first time to try out their Carbonara Mushrooms.  It was our son’s favorite. He was able to finish his share in no time. He wanted to order more!

Overall it was a fun lunch date with my boys at Sandy’s Pizza last Sunday. It was great that there weren’t many people inside the pizza place that day.  It was always packed whenever we attempt to drive by and dine in. Turned out more people are having their pizzas delivered that day. For more great deals, you might want to check out the FB Page of the biggest group buying website – Metrodeal. 🙂

Their branches are really designed for take out, so the paper plates are totally forgivable! 🙂

So how much did Metro Deal pay you to write this blog? do you know how much grief and anxiety Metro Deal is causing a lot of people with their bogus deals? wait let me guess! you got those vouchers for free courtesy of Metro Deal for this P.R. spin… tsk, tsk. tsk! What people would do for a piece of bread.

First off, we’ve loved Sandy’s Pizza since 2008. Way before they made their deals available via group buying sites. Secondly, this is a personal post of my own experience pertaining to this particular voucher. Incidentally, during the time we claimed the voucher, there was also someone who claimed the same deal that she bought from Metrodeal too. She also vouchered away without hitch. But I do understand your frustration about being scammed. I also was scammed by one of Ensogo’s skin care deal. Third, I’ve been purchasing vouchers across most group buying sites for sometime now.

I guess the problem with Metrodeal (and other group buying sites really) is partnering with companies that are not so reputable. With probably hopes of having more offers for their subscribers, they are actually ruining their reputation by taking in more than they should.

Hopefully, these group buying sites will hear us out. And us consumers should filter accordingly which ones to buy from based on our experience.
