Cafes are widely known these days to be the default go to meet up place, whether it’s a random get together, school work, “me time” or even office work. I should know, I cannot anymore count the number of times I did my online work in a coffee shop.
One of the coffee shops that have pleasantly invaded Manila is J.CO, a late player maybe but a brand that has continued to thrive since its launch. And by thrive, I mean endless lines and crowd in most if not all J.CO branches. Precisely why J.CO has been around a while before I actually got a taste of its delightful offerings.
If you happen to be one of the many J.CO followers, you won’t miss its unique coffee flavors like Cafe Avocado and Coconut Mocha Frappe. The innovation of constantly coming up with something new and consistent topnotch quality are reminiscent to the brand.
With my dear mommy blogger friend, Mauie of the24hourmommy.com. 🙂
I was privileged to witness the launch of the first installment to the J.COFFEE Premium finest line of coffee beans — Colombia Supremo Beans. J.CO imports these premium beans from the third largest coffee producer in the world, Colombia.
Colombia’s tropical climate, high elevation, and volcanic soils make it one of the best places to cultivate coffee. The result is a rich flavor with mild aroma, and a hint of nuttiness, making it a favorite among coffee connoisseurs, and appreciated even by non-regular coffee drinkers.
J.COFFEE Premium Colombian beans are roasted at medium level to maintain a consistently rich character without being too mild or too bitter— a sweet spot for the most enjoyable flavor in every cup. As with all of J.CO’s services, J.CO Premium Colombian Coffee is prepared and served with passion and meticulous care.
In celebration of J.CO’s newest premium creations, a festive Colombian-inspired media gathering was held at J.CO Kidzania on Wednesday, August 12. We enjoyed the Colombian dance number, mug-decorating workshop, and a café latte demonstration by the local coffee experts.
We were given 15 minutes to decorate our mug. I probably handed over mine at less than 5 minutes when I saw that I was surrounded with ultra creative peeps who were jazzing up their mugs like it was their day job, while I felt so small knowing nothing else to draw but flowers. I just knew I had no chance!
Imagine my delight when my mug was one of the chosen three that won no less than a year’s supply of J.CO donuts and J.Coffee. Wow! 🙂
Oh, yes! I’m still in shock. The simplicity of my entry must’ve appealed to the judges. 😉
Thank you, J.CO for the year long donut and coffee treat! 😀
Mr. Putra Andrean, the head of J.Coffee specialist in Indonesia, also graced the event and talked about J.CO’s coffee heritage and event made some coffee latte art himself!
