McCormick recently launched their line of Bread Spread during the aptly tagged official media lunch – “Goodbye Bland, Hello Flavorful!” My first impression of it was that it was like a kind of seasoning you throw in your regular bread spread to give it a kind of twist. Since I have gotten used to McCormick do that and some to most of my dishes.
McCormick Bread Spread actually are the bread spread themselves. But more than that, you can actually use it to add flavor to a handful of dishes. Sweet! Now, with our family being great consumers of bread, this is something we can actually add to the variety of spreads we fill our pantry with. My son loves the herb parmesan variety a lot that he has finished the tube in two days! Yes, he has a pretty big appetite for a 7 year old.
The wife of Vince Hizon, Patricia, was the host. The launch was held at the Top Shelf. I hope the next time I come by they’ll have the place WiFi covered. For some reason, I get disconnected from my social networks when I’m there. Maybe wi-ex boosters can come in handy? Anyhoo, after Patricia introduced McCormick’s brand new product line, she ushered in Chef Stephanie Zubiri who came up with three different recipes using the McCormick Bread Spread. Talk about versatility! I love it!
Chef Stephanie Zubiri strutting her stuff as she effortlessly move through the demonstration table and does her three recipes. Right from the most difficult to do – Grilled Stuffed Chicken Breast with Roasted Veggies Millefeuille.
Pesto Orange Balsamic Salad Dressing, Garlic Herb Lemon Zest Carbonara and Grilled Stuffed Chicken Breast with Roasted Veggie Millefeuille by Chef Stephanie Zubiri.
I loved everything Chef Stephanie prepared and I cannot wait to have first dibs when her private kitchen opens! She made everything look so easy to prepare yet the finished products delighted my taste buds like no other. I’m sure the bread spread factors should have something to do with that. 😉
At first glance, I would have mistook these bread spread tubes for some facial wash. But come to think of it, it’s actually the perfect solution to mommies’ usual double dipping issues with kids and those traditionally packaged bread spreads. No mess, no double dipping and you can actually bring these anywhere. It makes family gallivanting with kids so much more convenient. Thank you, McCormick! 🙂
You can use them solo on your bread, as a dip for chips or great add-on flavor to your salads, pastas and main entree recipes. McCormick Bread Spread comes in three variants: Herb Parmesan, Garlic and Pesto. Each 100g tube retails for P75.
McCormick really thought of the packaging! This is soo convenient to use! How was the taste, by the way?
Wow, first time I’ve heard of this!
Nice move on the packaging. I’m not a fan of sachets kasi, especially for this. Tsaka it looks good to display it 😀
Is it tasty? And how long before you consume one tube? 🙂
I can’t wait to try 3 different bread spreads in one bread. =)
You’re not the only one who thought that it looks like some facial wash haha. That grilled chicken breast looks delicious.
