Just when I thought we’ve seen it all when it comes to coffee shop planners, comes the timely launch of UCC Vision Logbook themed “Positive Change and Planning for Change.” With its concept notches above the rest and for someone who haven’t been a planner user for years now, I am actually thrilled to get a hold of my very own copy. Aside from the fact that this planner covers 2011 and 2012, I love that I don’t have to let go of it by the end of 2011.
Entrepreneur and visionary Hubert Young, owner of the UCC coffee concept shops in the Philippines brought the Beacons of Change contributors together to come with the UCC Vision Logbook.
As motivational speaker Francis Kong will have it, “People can both desire and fear change. If we want to consciously bring about change for the good, then that change has to be envisioned and planned.â€
Let me start off with the Beacons of Change contributors – Francis Kong, Beacon of Personal Change. As an avid follower of Francis Kong’s blog, Inspiring Excellence, I know for a fact that there is so much I can learn from him. What made me believe in this person more is when I found out during the launch that Francis Kong is also licensed to conduct Maxwell leadership programs. I have been to at least a couple of John Maxwell leadership seminars and am totally sold out to his principles. Here’s a video clip I took of Francis Kong during the UCC Vision Logbook launch.
And then there’s Raju Mandhyan, Beacon for Mind Mapping. Mind mapping really sound interesting especially for someone who gets easily distracted as myself. Here is a video I took of Raju Mandhyan during the launch as he explains what Mind Mapping is about.

Five percent of the proceeds from the UCC Beacons of Change Vision Logbook program will be donated to Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF). The person on the far left of the above picture is one of the pastors in CCF St. Francis. Now this gives me another reason to get the word out all the more. 🙂
Then there is Randell Tiongson also, a personal finance expert who shared, “It’s really just a matter of adapting a system that works for you. We could be looking to accomplish personal, financial, professional, or social change. Keep in mind that change can be a positive force and that we need to actively take steps to make things happen.â€
The basic vision logbook includes 2011 and 2012 calendars and contains various useful modules such as a travel vision logbook, conversion tables, notes, and Francis Kong stories, tips, and quotations.
Additional modules are also available, such as Randell Tiongson’s 12 Easy Steps to Financial Wellness, Mind Mapping by Raju Mandhyan, and the “Entrepreneur’s Workbook for Change†by Let’s Go Foundation. Customers can choose one of these three modules for every P 1,500 single minimum receipt purchase at UCC Coffee Concept Stores within the promo period.
The logbook can be claimed with accumulated P5,000 receipts (issued within the promo period December 15, 2010, to February 28, 2011)Â in UCC Coffee Concept Stores. More promotional coupons for free dishes or drinks are inside the UCC Vision Logbook.
