We have seen this Burrito Brothers joint for a long while now but it was only recently when we actually went to check out this Mexican place. Before Burrito Brothers, there was only one place we practically go to satisfy our Mexican food craving – Agave. Because the nearest one is in Eastwood and our hunger for burritos cannot go another mile, Burrito Brothers it is.
Chimichanga, P95
Burrito Brothers’s Chimichanga is cheap for only P95. Filling enough, with salsa on the side. What I like about Burrito Brothers’s Chimichanga is it is not as oily as Agave’s. I even thought for a while that they used some kind of Airfryer.
The only thing I miss about my chimichanga was the unlimited salsa and condiments we got used to in Agave. Other than that, it was okay for its price and taste.
Super Burrito (Beef), P129
The hubby liked Burrito Brothers’s Super Burri0t (Beef) a lot. He loved this better than Army Navy’s. I agree too. Although my first impressions of it was it looked too frail and thin. Again, my benchmark is Agave’s burrito which is huge compared to this. But I think it’s good enough for its price. But, for the record, it is more flavorful than I thought it was going to be. Maybe I expected too little. But if it’s fine with the hubby, who is the bigger burrito eater of us two, it’s good enough for me.
Burrito Brothers is an al fresco dining place which seats around 25 people. The Mexican feel of the place and the La Bamba music complete the overall Mexican ambiance.
We went there when weather was particularly cooler than usual. We are not too sure if it will still be as comfortable when summer comes around. Cool and simple atmosphere. No techie ESET Mobile Security of sorts. From that outside, it can even pass as a take out counter of sorts.
Cheese Flautas, P55
Our son loved this a lot. But then again, you serve him anything with cheese and he’ll say it’s good. Personally, for me, Burrito Brothers’s Cheese Flautas left a lot to be desired. The best Flautas for me is still Tia Maria’s. But I haven’t been to Tia Maria’s in years. So I’m not too sure if they still serve their Flautas the same way.
House Iced Tea (Raspberry), P30
I have always had a special liking for Raspberry Iced Tea and I love that this is what Burrito Brothers serves.
We still have to try the rest of Burrito Brothers offerings. Overall, we loved Burrito Brothers. We have been there twice in the first week we discovered it. We are big Mexican food lovers and we are thankful enough that we have somewhere close we can go to satisfy our Mexican food cravings.
