There was no way we were going to Batangas without visiting one of its famous Lomi houses – Lomi King. Since the 80’s, lomi places have multiplied in this town and eventually became one of its staple dishes.
After a lovely time with friends at La Virginia Resort, we went to Lomi King for our lunch. It was a highly recommended place to visit by our blogger friend, Itot, who also generously shared his time to tour us around Lipa. 🙂
Lomi King probably serves the best Seafood Lomi. Here is what I ordered. The breaded fish was something else. Everything in the bowl complemented each other that made us hope altogether that Lomi King puts a branch in Manila.
Their lomi serving is exceptionally huge! The above photo is that of their Super Special Lomi, which methinks can probably serve three people. Best thing about it is that it is only P95. Packed with all the ingredients a lomi can be made of. Our common favorite was the kikiam with the lomi. Yes, those floating pieces of meat on the picture is the famous kikiam, which I was told you can actually order separately and are only available in this lomi place.
We look forward to more road and food trips with our friends Montsch and Iris who we spent our Valentine vacation with last month. We will surely drop by Lomi King once again on our Laiya Holy Week holiday. 🙂
