My very first memories of childhood fun always had Magnolia Ice Cream in it. There was not a lot of other choices back then. But it is nice to know that Magnolia has kept its quality up to this day. I recently had some grand tasting of Magnolia Ice Cream’s Best of the Philippines Flavors and I can say this for a fact.
Magnolia Ice Cream, the pioneering brand in the country announced its Best of the Philippines (BOTP) flavor collection like Macapuno Banana and Macapuno Langka for the province of Laguna and Coffee Crumble and Tsokolate Tablea for the province of Batangas. Guimaras through its Mangoes and Cream and the Baguio Good Shepherd with the Ube Keso variety.
My personal favorite of the bunch is the Macapuno Langka. The rich taste of macapuno is heightened by yet another family favorite fruit. It especially refreshes us in this unforgiving summer heat.
Through these Magnolia Ice Cream flavors representing the different provinces of the Philippines, we are given a “taste” of the best of each of them regardless of where we are in the country.
