A Foodie’s Christmas Wishlist: A Flavel Dual Range Cooker

Because our family loves eating, cooking is a major part of our daily grind. But here’s the news, my eleven year old gas range is slowly giving up on me. I have had it serviced a couple of times and the maintenance suggestion of the technician did not help. I still cannot use that one burner.

Aside from the battery that our 11 year old, gas range has survived through the Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) flooding, the rust here and there and the grilling feature practically unusable, I have become limited to the dishes that I can cook, grill and bake for my family and loved ones! With the Christmas coming in a few weeks, I am left but to order goodies instead of the traditional baking I have been doing for years.

Now as I was window shopping online for the perfect gas range replacement. My eyes tummy heart got stuck on this wide variety of range cookers. Particularly, on the silver Flavel Dual Range Cooker. I love that it has this 53 litre capacity for its electric main oven. That’s an A Rating for Energy Efficiency. And aside from being a foodie and cook, I am also one practical Mama.

This is actually the first time I have encountered a range that has dual oven. The right side is the fan assisted conventional oven. The double glazed viewing window is a dream!  The kitchen queen is giddy here.

Loved ones who have had a taste of my Blueberry Cheesecake will stop at nothing to have me convinced to go pro. But with the current hit and miss oven I am now using, it’s a real long shot. And if I push it, it’s going to literally break my already bad back.

Aside from the features of this stylish and efficient Flavel Dual Range, I like that as I checked out user reviews, this range is easy to clean. That’s a big plus for me. A self cleaning oven always gets the upper hand.
