Ever since the first meal I had at Figaro, Sta. Lucia Theatre Zone many years ago, I have come to appreciate the coffee company for more than just their coffees and frappes. They actually serve good food! Effective today, Oct. 1, Figaro is offering their patrons their newest lunch meals: Sweet Pork Katsu and Chicken Curry with Pineapple Chutney. These lunch meals are available from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Sweet Pork Katsu, P160
Figaro’s Sweet Pork Katsu is made of crusted pork covered in panko bread crumbs drizzled with their special mayo barbeque sauce. The crunch the crumbs give the sweet pork is a delight to the taste buds. This is precisely why it will be struggle for me to go vegetarian. I am sucker of meals like this. 🙂
Chicken Curry with Pineapple Chutney, P160
Figaro’s Chicken Curry with Pineapple Chutney is a perfect combination of spicy curry with sweet pineapple. The snow peas make for a balance meal, if you ask me. These lunch meals come with 12 oz. lemonade. Amongst the two of Figaro’s newest offerings, I’m drawn towards the Sweet Pork Katsu.
Chef Mark Infante
It was Chef Mark Infante who cooked up these newest lunch offerings from Figaro. I heard that he was the same guy responsible for a few other meals previously launched by Figaro. Those I have to try. Because these latest two definitely got my taste buds’ approval. 🙂

BDO credit card holders can enjoy a Buy 1, Get 1 Free on milk tea, brewed coffee and bakes. Promo period until March 31, 2013. BPI credit card holders gets to have a choice of free hot drink for every order of any cake. Offer is until February 1, 2013. While Unionbank cardholders get 10% discount for every P200 single receipt purchase until September 30, 2013. Metrobank card holders get a second drink free for every cold drink purchase until November 30, 2012. It’s always fun when you get these sweet extras while you’re spending for good food.
