On Mother’s Day, Chateau 1771 will give dining moms gift vouchers for Afternoon Tea for their next visit.
Chateau 1771 Afternoon Tea carries the unique touch of the restaurant’s famed No Borders Cuisine, the exquisite innovations on well-loved Swiss, Italian and French creations. The afternoon tea set changes daily, allowing the chefs the freedom to be creative in concocting delicious morsels according to their imagination and the freshest ingredients of the day. Thus, every tea set is a delightful surprise.
Offerings may include Seared Beef Tenderloin and Cornichon Canapé, Salmon Gravlax on Mini Pancakes, Raclette Toast, Blueberry Scones, Chocolate Coated Marshmallow S’mores, Apple Crumble or Cherry Tomato and Feta Cheese Picks.
Enjoy this afternoon pastime with your choice of La Maison du Thé Tea or Vittoria French press coffee. Pay a little extra, and turn your meal into a “Champagne Afternoon Tea” by starting with a chilled glass of fine champagne or sparkling wine.
Café 1771, for its part, will open on a Sunday just for Mother’s Day, from 8am to 2pm. Diners will be given a brunch treat of Ebelskivevers, a beloved treat from Denmark which are puffy circular pancakes cum popovers filled with fruit, chocolate, jam or cheese.
